Writer's Page-Pitch

Dear Ninang J,

In my essay, I'm talking about a subject that has contributed much in shaping my identity and development. I wrote about a time in high school that really changed me. It was when our school wanted to cut down all the trees and build a giant concrete wall. I was so passionate about the environment that I even used my allowance to help fight it. My parents were proud of me but were also fearful of the complex situation I got myself into.

It was a really stressful time, but I learned a lot from being involved in the protests. It helped me grow and realize how important it is to stand up for what you believe in. Even though it happened years ago, I still think about it today and how it has affirmed and validated what I have become.

I hope you'll consider my essay for the PAWR-1 course workshop.
